Who’s the MyDrift Gal?
The MyDrift gal, Alissa, is a designer, writer and trend spotter in one well-wrapped package. She spent her undergraduate years studying art history and fine art at a university that shares its name with a fabulous neutral color, and will soon complete her MFA in graphic design at the Maryland Institute College of Art. She spends the rest of her time doing freelance and keeping up on all things pop culture.
There’s a good chance you’ve seen Alissa before. She has been featured on a novelty gum box, insulted on national television by the Queer Eye guys, and appeared on both Dateline and in Newsweek as a vaguely recognizable, but very cute background blur.
At the moment, she treasures her porcelain owl lamp, painting by Ruby the elephant, four-leaf clover charm, Justin boots and her creativity. Alissa is constantly on the prowl for the next big thing, so she can brag and blog about it.
