Some store bought beverages are comfortable to drink out of the container and some aren’t. It depends on the diameter of the opening and the size of the drinker’s mouth and nose. It seems unsanitary that our nostrils often end up hovering above our soda, juice or water. The other day I encountered drinking perfection with Fruit Water. The new bottle for this particular beverage has an angled mouth making it a pleasure to drink from. We’ll have to wait and see if other companies follow suit.

I just have to agree with you that nostrils hovering above one’s drink is unsanitary and pretty grose! I always hate it when my brother has to stick his nose really close to our food to smell it.

The worst thing is to share a drinking bottle with one’s cookie-eating kids. They let the water wash up into their mouth and then back into the bottle, carrying with it a cloud of crumbs. Yuck. But sometimes, a mom does get too thirsty to care.
Maybe the next generation of Fruit Water can include a backwash filter guard.
I love this bottle! I haven’t seen it yet in the stores but now I’m on the lookout. Also, to add to the griping about other bottles, one of my pet peeves is when water falls out of the sides of water bottles (like the ones you use for sports). It happens all the time! And then I have big water spots on my shirt and pants and look like an idiot.
