Right now I’m betting on Chloe running away with the whole dang thang. While Daniel has won a bunch of challenges lately, Chloe’s work has been the most consistent from the start. From time to time, the show focuses on her possible stumbling blocks to keep the viewer guessing, but she always overcomes them. This week in the makeover challenge she was assigned to design a new look for cuter-than-cute Nick. Though she had never done menswear, she was able to create a dapper, well-constructed and totally flattering pinstripe suit. I was down with the judges giving her the win.
Nick may have looked the best on the catwalk, but all will agree he created one of the worst looks this week. His slim-cut suit made sweet Daniel V. look sleazy. Of course, Santino squeaked by yet again; after all, he is the only one left with that is enough of a character to cause a stir. His jumpsuit for Kara was an interesting idea, but using glue really took it down a notch. Perhaps if he glued his trap shut and concentrated on his work, that wouldn’t have happened. Again, if he were quiet, we’d be bored. I’m left wishing that two people could have been out this week. I just want to get to the finale, so I can see what the “top” three can really do and I can move on to a different addictive show.

I noticed that in the last two episodes the ones who zoned in on their idea early in the challenge ended up losing. Both Andre and Nick felt confident from the start because of their previous experiences. Perhaps that made them relax too much? Who knows. Neither idea translated into a good design.
And wasn’t Heidi’s dress at the beginning gorgeous? It’s amazing how much better her materinity outfits look compared to all the pregnant movie stars at the award shows.
